Hired by the Guangzhou Painting Institute, Chen is also a professor at the Chinese University of Hong Kong and Guangzhou University. His work has been collected by various museums including the Great Hall of the People, the Museum of the War of Chinese People's Resistance Against Japanese Aggression, as well as collectors from home and abroad.
